Zorzál is the encounter of passion, tragedy, comedy and romanticism, like the ups and downs of daily life experiences expressed through Tangos, Milongas, Zambas, Candombe and Boleros.
Zorzál are Dario Lancman (guitar and voice), Elena Zaléz (voice, percussion and guitar) and Sophie Dahm (violin).
Having met through the Melbourne scene, they are re-creating music from South America, centering their repertoire around the Rio de la Plata. Bringing fresh arrangements from classical pieces like “Pedacito de cielo” or “El día que me quieras” by Carlos Gardel.
